Less than one mile from Hidden River is the campus of the University of South Florida, one of the nation’s largest public universities. On-campus is the recently opened V.A. Primary Care Annex with other major medical facilities within two miles of Hidden River. They include the James A. Haley Veteran’s Hospital, Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children, H. Lee Moffitt Hospital and Cancer Research Institute, and the USF Psychiatry Center.
